AIGA Brand Guidelines

Apr 2025

As Marketing Director for AIGA UTK, a national professional design organization, I led the creation of their full marketing system. I started by developing brand guidelines to establish a consistent visual identity, then applied them across all marketing materials including social media graphics.

End of Year Report for Global Supply Chain Institute

Jan 2025

As Marketing Intern at the Global Supply Chain Institute, I designed and compiled the 2024 End of Year Report for the #1 ranked graduate supply chain program in North America. This report highlighted GSCI’s growth across social media, podcasts, and media appearances, including over 690 social posts, 11,209 LinkedIn followers, and 495,311 impressions. Using HubSpot, spreadsheets, and custom design layouts, I translated complex performance data into a clear and professional report for internal and external stakeholders.

Tennessee JumboTron

Apr 2024

As part of my internship with the Global Supply Chain Institute, I designed JumboTron visuals displayed in Neyland Stadium for UT’s Spring 2024 Supply Chain Forum. I focused on bold simple typography, clean hierarchy, and bright, high-contrast color to ensure readability at scale.

Vogue Magazine Spread

Nov 2024

Inspired by the viral Charli XCX “What’s In My Bag” trend, I reimagined it as a polished British Vogue-style spread. Blending bold type, clean product labeling, and playful object placement, I translated a pop culture moment into a cohesive editorial layout. This project shows how I turn internet trends into elevated visual storytelling!

6 Word Memoir

Jan 2025

For this typography-driven assignment, I created a physical art piece based on my personal six-word memoir: “Life isn’t perfect, my outfit is.” Inspired by the challenge to tell a full story in just six words, I applied holographic vinyl lettering to denim jeans to bring my statement to life. This work explores how language, fashion, and self-expression can come together as a bold visual narrative beyond traditional poster formats.

Type Specimen Poster

Sep 2024

This poster showcases the visual character and historical context of Adobe Jenson Pro, a Venetian serif designed for high readability and elegance. Using a strict grid system, I organized letterforms, numerals, typographic anatomy, and historical details to help designers evaluate the typeface’s range and personality. The design highlights contrast, scale, and density to emphasize Jenson’s rich, classic structure while maintaining clarity and visual hierarchy.

Daisy Chain

Apr 2025

This project challenged me to transform a chain of ten Wikipedia articles into a mobile app experience, starting with UT’s mascot Smokey. I designed a playful, educational app that guides users through connected topics using interactive elements like quizzes, tap-to-reveal facts, and clickable maps. Prototyped in Figma and built with responsive HTML/CSS on Glitch, this app demonstrates my ability to design narrative-driven user flows while considering mobile navigation best practices.

Photo Sequence – Lipstick Application

Oct 2023

This project explores the power of sequencing to document interaction and transformation through photography. I captured a step-by-step narrative showing the process of applying lipstick, focusing on consistency in lighting, cropping, and perspective to emphasize change over time. The final black-and-white series demonstrates how simple, everyday actions can be elevated through intentional framing and sequential storytelling.

Recipe Spread

Nov 2024

This editorial spread showcases one of my favorite family recipes, homemade blueberry pie, styled as a cookbook feature. I used a clear typographic hierarchy, grid structure, and balanced negative space to organize ingredients, directions, and a personal story alongside styled food photography. The layout combines thoughtful typography and imagery to make the content easy to follow while reflecting the warmth and personal connection behind the recipe.
